Celestix now "Secured by Check Point"

Celestix has integrated Check Point into its new comprehensive appliance management tool.

Decurity appliances developer Celestix Networks yesterday announced the launch of the Celestix Collectiv Manager appliance, which integrates Check Point technologies.

The new appliance allows enterprises with multiple Celestix One appliances to maintain, monitor and manage all hardware from a single console.

Celestix noted that "all Celestix One VPN/security appliances integrate industry-leading Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1/ Next Generation to deliver the industry's highest level of security, and have been rigorously tested and certified as 'Secured by Check Point', ensuring optimal operation, ease of use, and interoperability.

Traditional servers often require an administrator's physical presence for even the simplest management tasks, such as restarting the server, updating the system or monitoring the status of the appliance. With Celestix Collectiv Manager, administrators are now able to have a bird's eye view of the status of all the appliances in their network. The Collectiv Manager provides status alerts, update alerts, job status, and can update and patch any or all the appliances in the network.

"We are pleased to see Celestix introduce the new Collectiv manager," said Farzad Tari, director of business development at Check Point Software Technologies.
