M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers (Nasdaq: FLSH) today announced that three new US-based representative companies had joined its worldwide sales network for fast flash disk (FFD) products.
Electronic Manufacturers' Agents, NewTec Reps and West Coast Reps will sell M-Systems' IDE & SCSI flash disk products to defense and aerospace customers, the company said.
EMA has been a manufacturers representative in the southeast for the past 29 years. "We are always looking for new technologies to support the demanding requirements of our customers," said Joseph Sandusky, president of EMA.
"We feel the addition of M-Systems to our product offering will accomplish this for us, as well as being very complimentary and synergistic to our existing lines. We are looking forward to long and very profitable relationship with M-Systems."
M-Systems and NewTec Reps will work together to target the Washington DC area. "M-Systems' FFDs will fit in well with our existing embedded products and our overall strategy to offer quality products and support to the Department of Defense/government community," said Tony Cestone, manufacturer's representative for NewTec.
According to Walter Reynolds, president of WCR, "M-Systems' FFD products are an excellent addition to our product portfolio. The majority of our time is spent at the engineering level or 'design-in stage' where we assist our customers in selecting products to meet their application requirements. Our customer base will yield many opportunities for the application of the excellent and innovative products offered by M-Systems."
"EMA, NewTec and WCR have a good record of success within the market segments that we want targeted for our IDE and SCSI products," said Ofer Tsur, marketing manager for M-Systems. "Enhancing our sales channels for the US defense, and aerospace markets will enable M-Systems to increase sales of its IDE/SCSI solid-state disks to those markets. EMA, NewTec and WCR are ideal partners for M-Systems."
