HEI opens new NIS 10m hotel in Herzliya

Named “Shinzen”, the spa hotel has 40 30-sq.m. rooms.

Despite the troubles in the hotel industry, developers Reuven Ela and the Zabludowicz family have invested NIS 10 million in a new hotel in Herzliya, which hotel opened today. The HEI international hotel chain, owned by the Zabludowicz family, will manage the hotel.

The hotel, a spa, is located next to the Daniel Hotel, also owned by Ela. Named Shizen, the hotel has 40 30-sq.m. rooms, designed in a Far Eastern style. The rooms have appliances not normally found in Israeli hotels, including a CD-radio and parquet floors. The hotel also has 18 treatment rooms.

The hotel’s clientele will be people seeking spa services on the Herzliya seafront; the Daniel Hotel is aimed at a business clientele.

”Shinzen” means self-awareness originality and naturalness in Japanese.
