Two weeks ago, the Histadrut named the Manufacturers Association in its court petition filed to cancel the pension legislation and appointment of authorized managers for its veteran pension funds.
In its statement of response to the Histadrut (General Federation of Labor in Israel) petition against the Manufacturers Association and the state over pensions, filed with the National Labor Court, the Manufacturers Association wrote that it has no collective dispute with the Histadrut over pensions, and therefore asked to removed as claimant.

National Labor Court president Judge Steve Adler decided to hold an urgent hearing on the matter and summoned the state and Manufacturers Association to respond to the Histadrut petition within a week. Adler decided to hold hearings tomorrow and Friday, due to the urgency of the subject.
