Deutsche Telekom's T-Com unit selected ClickSoftware’s ServiceOptimization Suite.
Click Software (Nasdaq: CKSW), a provider of workforce management software, today reported it won a multi-year contract valued at several million dollars from Deutsche Telekom's T-Com division.
ClickSoftware said its ServiceOptimization Suite would enable T-Com to improve the efficiency of its field service operations, and improve response times to customer service requests.
T-Com is primarily responsible for the fixed-line network sector within Deutsche Telekom's four strategic business areas. The division is one of the largest fixed network providers in Europe, with about 56 million connections -- including ISDN channels.
T-Com will implement ClickSoftware's ClickSchedule solution for the optimized scheduling and street-level-routing of more than 15,000 field service engineers. ClickSchedule will initially be integrated into legacy call center and manual dispatching systems.
ClickSoftware shares closed on Nasdaq on Monday at $2.27.
