AmCham head Nina Admoni was appointed observer to the special committee responsible for issuing permits to foreign companies operating in Israel who employ experts.
Israel-America Chamber of Commerce exective director Nina Admoni, has been appointed observer to the special committee of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, responsible for issuing permits to foreign companies operating in Israel who employ experts.
Admoni's appointment to the committee resulted from a meeting between chamber representatives with Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor Ehud Olmert, who expressed his support of the chamber's efforts to enhance reciprocal trade and investment. Olmert promised to be of assistance and set up a fast track system, the Chamber of Commerce said.
"The contribution of US companies in Israel business activities is of particular significance to the economic growth of Israel ,and we will do our utmost to assist them. We focus on smoothing out any bureaucratic setbacks,and facilitating an optimal business climate for all our members," said Admoni. "We call upon US companies to contact the chamber for additional information."
