Kinneret rises 8 cm in 24 hours

The water level in Lake Kinneret is still 1.91 meters below the upper red line.

'ITIM“ - the Israel News Agency'' reports that the water level in Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee) has risen by eight cm to 210.91 meters below sea level in the past 24 hours, the biggest one-day rise this season.

The Mt. Hermon ski resort was opened again this morning, after having closed down because of a snowstorm.

Resort workers last night cleared the roads leading to the site, enabling visitors and skiers to reach it.

The snow level reached 90 cm in the lower ski lift area, and 1.3 meters in the upper sky lift area.
