Cooperation between the two investment banks will initially focus on asset management.
Cukierman & Co. has been appointed the representative of investment bank Lazard in Israel. Lazard, which is ranked sixth in the world in mergers and acquisitions, manages assets worth some 56 billion euro.
Cukierman & Co. has been active in European markets for a decade. Among other things, it has assisted Israeli companies seeking to expand activities in Europe through private and public fund raising, mergers, and acquisitions.
The partnership between Cukierman and Lazard will focus on asset management for their clients. The intention is to extend cooperation in the future to corporate finance.
