Four companies won Israel Land Administration (ILA) tenders on Friday to buy plots zoned for 300 apartments in the Harnes and Neve Zeev neighborhoods in Beer Sheva. The companies will pay an aggregate $4.65 million, including development, or $16,500 per land per apartment.
The four companies are: Yahalomit Peretz Building & Development; BZ Quality Engineering Building & Development; Moshe Avisror & Sons Building & Development Works; and Schweizer Investments.
A fifth 5.7-dunam (1.425-acre) plot, zoned for 66 apartments, was not sold, since the sole bidder offered only $35,000 for the land, below the minimum price of $110,000.
