Viola has raised $17 million to date.

Viola Networks is about to raise $8 million. Founded in 1998, Viola provides software solutions for supporting and upgrading network activity and performance. The company has raised $17 million to date.

Viola’s investors include Concord Ventures, KenTech Ventures, Ophirtech, and private investors. Viola’s most recent financing round was in late 2001. Sources inform “Globes” that the company is looking for new investors, in addition to its current ones. Viola CFO Aharon Ben-Nun confirmed that the company was in the processing of raising capital, saying, “We’re looking for new investors, and we certainly wouldn’t rule out a foreign investor.”
