The company has signed a cooperation agreement with Kromas of Turkey.
Israeli start-up DiSTek has raised €500,000 from the Office of the Chief Scientist and private investors, after signing a joint development agreement with Kromas of Turkey.
DiSTek develops metal galvanization technology. Kromas is one the largest galvanization companies in the world, with sales of $415 million in 2002. The joint project will develop new galvanizing metals.
Deputy CEO Isaak Shtikan founded DiSTek in 1990.
The European Eureka financing program is designed to encourage industrial cooperation between countries. 31 European countries, including EU member states, are members of the program. Israel is classified as a full partner.
