Bermad supplies irrigation control systems for Italian agricultural project

The deal is worth NIS 13.5 million.

Bermad, owned by Kibbutz Evron and Kibbutz Saar, has supplied and installed irrigation systems worth NIS 13.5 million to a southern Italian agricultural project. Bermad develops, manufactures, and markets systems for water and wastewater supply and treatment facilities, irrigation, water meters, and other products.

Bermad Italy managing director Meir Roitman said the radio-based remote control systems were integrated with irrigation infrastructure systems.

Bermad used Motorola Israel equipment in the project.

Roitman said Bermad Italy participated in choosing the planning and designing concept for the project, in which one control center uses technologies to control over 7,000 nozzles.
