H. Stern Jewelry and Precious Stones announced today that it had won the Israel Airports Authority tender to operate the duty free jewelry franchise at Ben Gurion Airport Terminal 3, the new terminal in the Ben Gurion 2000 project.
H. Stern has operated the jewelry franchise at Ben Gurion Airport for 41 years. The $21 million Terminal 3 tender is for seven years. H. Stern will operate several stores in Terminal 3 with a total area of 300 sq.m. The company will invest $1.5 million to set up the stores and $10 million in inventory.
H. Stern is an international chain that owns stores at airports in New York, Frankfurt, Lisbon, and Rio de Janiero. H. Stern has 36 stores in Israel.
