German utility company Mark-E deploys Actelis solution

The solution was sold by Actelis’ German partner Quante Networks.

Actelis Networks, supplier of solutions that enable carrier-grade, broadband services over local loop copper, today announced that its MetaLIGHT 100E broadband-over-copper solution has been deployed by Mark-E, a major German utility organization. The solution was sold, and will be serviced, by Actelis’ German partner, Quante Netzwerke (Quante Networks) is a subsidiary of Quante AG, a 3M company. No value was disclosed.

Mark-E is a regional utility company, servicing multiple corporate sites throughout their service area, all of which require high-speed, broadband to allow transporting of high-quality voice and video over the network.

“Actelis’ MetaLIGHT 100E platform enabled us to quickly and easily deploy high-bandwidth Ethernet services to a number of our sites in a very economical way. The solution also allowed us to tailor those broadband services to meet the specific needs of each of our sites,” said Stefan Blöink, team leader communication technology of Mark-E.
