Malibu to build 25,000 sqm for Teva

Malibu will build an export-oriented pharmaceuticals factory that will employ 400 people.

Malibu Israel has won a Teva Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: TEVA; TASE:TEVA) tender to build a 25,000-sq.m. industrial and office building at Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem. The building will also include public space. Malibu will be paid NIS 43 million, or $380 per sq.m. of built-up space. This is the largest construction contract Malibu has won recently.

Malibu will build an export-oriented pharmaceuticals factory that will employ 400 people. Malibu will build the foundations, skeleton, and finishing.

Malibu will employ 150 laborers on the project, and will deliver the building in 18 months. The new factory will add to Teva's existing premises at Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem's main high-tech compound.
