Golan Plastic Products, owned by Kibbutz Shaar Hagolan, will be expanded, at a cost of $7.5 million.
Israel Aircraft Industries subsidiary Elta Electronic Industries will expand its factory in Ashdod, at a cost of $50 million. The Investment Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Labor yesterday approved a grant track for the investment. Elta manufactures military electronic and radar systems.
The Investment Center approved 19 plans, with an aggregate investment of $69.3 million. A grant was also approved for the $7.5 million expansion of Golan Plastic Products, owned by Kibbutz Shaar Hagolan. Golan Plastic manufactures cross-linked polyethylene pipes and PVC profiles.
A grant was also approved for expanding the Erez Thermoplastic Products plant at Kibbutz Erez, at a cost of $3 million. The plant manufactures thermoplastic flexible sheeting for lifeboats and clothing.
