Shaike Ela to build NIS 70m Ahuzat Poleg assisted living facilities project

Shaike Ela is the contractor for the skeleton of the new Knesset office building in Jerusalem and 380 apartments in Modi'in.

Shaike Ela has won an Avraham Rubinstein and Co. Building tender to build the second stage of the Ahuzat Poleg assisted living facilities project in Kibbutz Tel Yitzhak. The project is estimated at NIS 70 million. 90 housing units will be built in the second stage.

Rubinstein owns 67% of Ahuzat Poleg, Kibbutz Tel Yitzhak 26% and Americare Management and Consultants 7%. The project will have 350 housing units altogether, mostly individual houses. 93 houses have been sold to date for a total of $23 million, at an average of $250,000 per house. The project manager told "Globes" that negotiations were underway for the sale of 28 more houses.
