Randi Co. has been the Israeli franchisee for Johnson & Johnson for many years.
Sources inform “Globes” that S. Schestowitz Ltd., the Israeli representative of Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE:CL), is about to get the Johnson and Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) consumer products franchise for Israel.
Randi Co. has been the Israeli franchisee for Johnson and Johnson consumer products for many years. Until recently Randi also had the Israeli franchise for Gerber, but lost it to Guri Import & Distribution Ltd. Randi's sales are estimated at NIS 150 million a year, including NIS 80 million from the sale of Johnson and Johnson products.
Schestowitz's turnover is estimated at $150 million a year. The company is mainly associated with cosmetics. importing Gillette (NYSE:G) and Kellogg's (NYSE:K) products.
