Global Commercial Payment Solution (GCPS) has chosen Leumi Card to represent it in Israel.
Bank Leumi's (TASE:LUMI) credit card company, Leumi Card, has signed a cooperation agreement with Global Commercial Payment Solution (GCPS) to represent it in Israel.
Under the agreement, Leumi Card will have the right to issue Visa business credit cards to managers and employees of the Israeli branches of multinational companies that have card-issuing agreements with GCPS member banks. Leumi Card is the first Israeli member of GCPS.
GCPS is a partnership of Visa International and scores of banks and issuers of Visa credit cards in 31 countries. GCPS is jointly owned by ANZ Group, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), Barclays Bank (NYSE:BCS; LSE; XETRA:BARC), BBVA Grupo, BNP Paribas (Paris:BNPP), Royal Bank of Scotland (LSE:RBS), US Bank, and Visa International.
