SBC Communications (NYSE:SBC; SBT; LSE; XETRA:SBC) sold 2.4 million Amdocs (NYSE:DOX) shares on September 24 for $54.7 million, at an average of $22.79 per share.
Amdocs lost about 2.8% in trading yesterday, and closed at $21.54. SBC still holds 6.2% of Amdocs.
Over the years SBC has bought and sold an estimated $615 million in Amdocs shares. Up until the most recent transaction, SBC had a 7.4% in Amdocs, valued at $335 million.
