Channel 10, The Israeli Network to share content

The Israeli Network currently broadcasts in the US, Canada and Panama, and plans to expand its coverage to other Latin American countries and Europe.

The Israeli Network and Channel 10 have signed a content-sharing agreement. With this agreement, The Israeli Network, which broadcasts in the US and Canada, now buys content from Israeli's main television stations, including Channel 1 and Channel 2 and cable television channels. Under the agreement with Channel 10, The Israel Network will air "Channel 10 News", "London and Kirshenbaum", "Evening with Assaf Harel," and "Odetta" for the first in the US.

Israel 10 VP finance and administrative resources Naftali Meron said, "Channel 10 welcomes the movee. Now that the Israeli public increasingly recognizes the improvement in the channel's content and the quality of our programs, we're pleased that the Jewish public in the US will also be able to enjoy these programs via The Israeli Network."

The Israeli Network was founded in 2001 to broadcast Israeli television shows to Israelis residing in the US and Canada. The Israeli Network has exclusive broadcasting rights for shows from Channel 1 (Israel Broadcasting Authority), Channel 2 franchisees Reshet Broadcasting and Tel-Ad Jerusalem Studios, the cable Sports Channel, Educational Television, the cable companies, and now Channel 10 as well. The Israeli Network currently broadcasts in the US, Canada and Panama, and plans to expand its coverage to other Latin American countries and Europe.

The Israeli Network is owned by director-general Shlomo Wolpert, Kardan Communications, Marlaz Communications, Arnon Milchan's New Regency Productions.
