C-nario, a developer of software and technology for digital dynamic messaging systems, today announced the deployment and commissioning of Auckland's first digital billboard.
Digital Light Solutionz, a New Zealand distributor of C-nario software, was responsible for Auckland shoppers getting their first look at the new video technology in November last year when the Lynn Mall ran a trial of C-Nario controlled multimedia displays utilising two 84-inch rear projectors and three plasma screens set up in high traffic areas. A new new digital billboard was recently installed on the corner of the Auckland's Fanshawe and Halsey Sts.
C-nario's platform runs similar digital dynamic messaging systems at locations around the world, such as the Rapid Vision LED billboard network in Israel, and the BBC Open Broadcasting Initiative, which delivers community TV to British high streets.
The displays feature multiple screen-in-screen content, managed by a single command computer running C-Nario's software over Internet. The video management system includes online editing and on-the-fly scheduling; management of an almost unlimited number of video channels; and integration of multiple high-quality video streams with text, live TV, Internet and graphics.
C-nario is a privately held company with offices in the US and Israel, and global partners and value added resellers throughout the world. C-nario is a member of the Diskin Group, established in 1990 by chairman and CEO Arnon Diskin.
