The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) indices rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 index rose 1.12% to 593.98 points, the Tel Aviv 100 rose 1.21% to 616.07 points, and the Tel-Tech rose 2.1% to 435.36 points. Turnover was NIS 1.05 billion.
The TASE is continuing to break records. Both the Tel Aviv 25 and 100 indices reached new all-time high points today, and the Tel-Tech index is only 8.5% below its all-time high. Trading volume also continues heavy, at around NIS 1 billion a day.
The representative dollar-shekel exchange rate fell another 0.64% today to NIS 4.323/$, its lowest level since July 7, 2003. The dollar-shekel exchange rate fell 0.76% to NIS 4.318 in inter-bank trading.
In the past six months, the dollar-shekel exchange rate has fallen by 6.7%, or NIS 0.31/$, and by a cumulative 12.2%, or NIS 0.601/$, in the past year.
The representative euro-shekel exchange rate corrected downward today, falling 0.56% to NIS 5.8159/€.
