Kiryat Anavim Silicone Technologies Ltd. (KAST) has signed a NIS 650,000 agreement to supply various products to a French manufacturer and marketer of surgical equipment. KAST develops and produces silicone rubber products.
KAST marketing director Meir Kristal said that the agreement had been signed while attending the MEDICA and ComPaMED trade fairs in Dusseldorf, Germany the world’s largest exhibitions for medical equipment. Under the agreement, KAST will supply a series of products to be integrated in technologies used in the French company’s products. Some of these products are designed for invasive surgery.
Kristal added that KAST’s technology was one of the most advanced of its kind in the world for manufacturing silicone rubber products for clean rooms. He said that this fact was enabling KAST to become a supplier for manufacturers of advanced medical equipment.
