Price cutting on fares to New York is spreading. Unitel Tourist & Air, which markets Israir charter flights to New York, announced today that it was offering second tickets for only $499, including taxes, on flights to New York during part of March and April. Parents flying to New York will pay $199, including taxes, for a child up to the age of 12.
An ordinary economy class charter ticket to New York costs $799-1,059, depending on the season.
The Unitel campaign is valid for reservations made between January 23 and February 21, for flights between March 20 and April 7, and returning to Israel before April 15.
