Reshafim general manager Rafael Salhov: DoublExit is designed save lives in emergencies, such as fire, earthquakes, or terrorist attacks.
Reshafim Security Doors Ltd. subsidiary DoublExit has invented a rescue and escape system that is installed at the emergency exits of multi-storey buildings or in suitable niches in apartments, offices, or other public space. Reshafim owns 50% of DoublExit.
Reshafim general manager Rafael Salhov said the system was developed as a solution to save lives in emergencies, such as fire, earthquakes, or terrorist attacks. He said the system was designed to provide a safe, simple, and effective rescue solution to save as many people as possible trapped in multi-storey buildings.
Salhov said safety agencies and contractors in Israel, the US, the UK, Russia, Singapore, and Japan were very interested in the system as an escape solution during disasters. He said the company's business totaled $7 million a year.
