Merged cable television company HOT will provide communications and value added services for the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotel chains in Israel. Africa Israel Hotels (TASE: AFHO) owns the franchise for these hotel chains in Israel. HOT will provide high-speed wireless Internet in rooms and public spaces, and cable television, data communications, and telephone services.
The five-year deal totals NIS 7 million.
Hotel guests will be able to obtain theses services through prepaid cards or credit cards, and will be able to hook up to the services from any point in a hotel.
