Arye Givony, David Haby, Tal Jaegerman, Rafi Peled, Rachel Toledano, Rami Levi, and Yigal Galai were indicted.
The Tel Aviv District Court today indicted business people Arye Givony, David Haby, and Tal Jaegerman; former Israel Police Inspector General, Prime Minister’s Office director general, and Israel Electric Corporation CEO Rafi Peled; and Afcon Industries (TASE: AFIN1; TASE;AFIN5) directors Rachel Toledano, Rami Levi, and Yigal Galai, responsible for drawing up and approving their company’s financial statements; for serious violations of the Criminal Code [New Version] (1977) and the Securities Law (5728-1968).
The twelve-count indictment relates to the actions of Givony, Haby, and Peled when they were controlling shareholders and senior office holders in the Peled-Givony group. It also addresses Jaegerman’s actions as a financial consultant to the three shareholders and acting CFO in most of the group’s companies. Jaegerman was the initiator of most of the actions listed in the indictment, and carried them out.
