Terrorists have killed over 1,000 Israelis since September 2000.
In the four and a half years between the beginning of the intifada in September 2000 and the end of May 2005 (including the attack on the Stage nightclub, but not yesterday’s attack in Netanya), 510 Israelis were killed and 3,290 injured in 142 suicide attacks carried out by 159 male and female suicide bombers.
The murder of four women last night in the attack on the Hasharon shopping mall in Netanya brought the number of those killed to 514 in 143 suicide attacks.
During this period, there have been over 24,000 attacks against Israeli citizens and residents, including foreign workers, in which over 1,000 Israelis lost their lives.
The Prime Minister’s Office published a pamphlet today summarizing all suicide attacks from September 2000 to the Stage attack on February 22, in which five people were killed and 52 injured.
