Camel Grinding Wheels to invest $3m in ceramic blades polishing plant

Camel Grinding Wheels customers include General Electric (NYSE:GE), Pratt and Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Snecma, and Blades Technology.

Camel Grinding Wheels Ltd., owned by Kibbutz Sarid, will invest $3 million in a ceramics polishing plant for processing jet engine turbine blades and gas and water turbine blades.

Camel Grinding Wheels CEO Israel Shotland said the plant would double the company’s production capacity in this expanding sector within two years. He added that to the military and civil aviation sectors would reach $7 million in 2005.

Camel Grinding Wheels customers include General Electric (NYSE:GE), Pratt and Whitney, Rolls-Royce (LSE:RR), Snecma, and Blades Technology Ltd.
