The company will invest NIS 100 million in the new cloud technologies center.
AudioCodes Ltd. (Nasdaq: AUDC; TASE: AUDC) will build an R&D center for cloud technologies in Beersheva at an investment of NIS 100 million over three years. The Office of the Chief Scientist will support the project.
AudioCodes will hire 100 engineers for the new center by 2016. It expects that a significant portion of the cost of this project will be reimbursed to it through Chief Scientist grants.
AudioCodes told "Globes" today that it will move R&D activity in other countries to the new Beersheva center and that it will tighten its collaboration with Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
