Automatic website builder Webydo Ltd. has raised $7 million. Crowdfunding site OurCrowd led the round with Magna Capital Partners. The company has raised $9.7 million to date.
Webydo was founded in 2010 by CEO Shmulik Grizim and Zvika Steinmetz. With a set of simple tools, including the classic drop and drag function for graphics, and predesigned templates, 93,000 designers, studios, and agencies use the company's platform to build websites for their clients. The platform has been used to design 335,000 sites to date.
The platform also allows the management and storage of sites designed by Webydo. The price ranges from $9 per month for one site and 3 gigabytes of storage to $85 per month for 250 sites and unlimited storage.
