Delek Group profit up 60%

The company has declared a NIS 160 million dividend.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG), controlled by Yitzhak Tshuva, today reported revenue growth to NIS 38.5 billion in 2013 from NIS 37.9 billion in 2012. Net profit rose 60% to NIS 740 million in 2013 from NIS 464 million in 2012.

Almost of all of Delek Group business sectors achieved growth. The profit from the oil and gas exploration sector rose to NIS 70 million in 2013 from NIS 22 million in 2012, and the profit from insurance and financing activity in Israel and the US was NIS 433 million.

Delek Group's board of directors approved a dividend of NIS 160 million for the fourth quarter

Delek Group CEO Asaf Bartfeld's salary cost was NIS 8.72 million in 2013, and chairman Gabi Last's salary was NIS 2.14 million. The salary cost of Delek Europe BV CEO Boaz Chechik was NIS 6.22 million and the salary cost of Delek Group CFO Barak Mashraki was NIS 3.78 million.
