Elbit Systems wins $23m IDF simulator contract

Elbit Systems will operate and maintain the training systems for five years.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) has won a $23 million five-year contract from the Ministry of Defense to operate and maintain ground simulators for the IDF. The fixed and mobile simulators are used for the training of troops for tanks and other armored combat vehicles, driving, intelligence, and other applications.

Elbit Systems said that the growing demand for the supply of training systems, together with increased requests to operate and maintain these systems through outsourcing, enhances training and simulation as a growth engine for the company.
