Israel Police is questioning the former minister about rigging tenders worth millions of shekels.
This morning Israel Police arrested a former government minister and the fraud squad questioned him under caution for many hours. The main allegation against the minister who served in the previous government is that he rigged tenders worth millions of shekels for bribes.
The suspicion is that he promoted people close to him in various tendered issued by his ministry. The police have also arrested those people whom the former minister was helping. The homes of suspects have been searched and many documents and computers were seized. The alleged offenses took place between 2009 and 2013.
