Police said two terrorists were caught near the Sarona market, where they had also wounded 16 people.

Four people were killed and 16 wounded on Wednesday night in a shooting attack at the Sarona Market in the heart of Tel Aviv.

Police forces arrived at the scene with Tel Aviv district police commander Moshe Edri. Magen David Adom rescue personnel evacuated the wounded to Sourasky Medical Center and Sheba Medical Center.

The police spokesperson said two terrorists took part in the incident and were captured near the scene. The terrorists were neutralized; one was taken in for interrogation and the other was wounded and evacuated to the hospital.

The terrorists are believed to be cousins from the Hebron area.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed in Israel after his visit to Russia and was set to convene an emergency meeting at the Kirya military headquarters near the scene of the attack.

Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai said, "We will not give in to terror… I ask everyone return to their daily routine tomorrow."
