The DailyDot website has reported that Israeli actress Gal Gadot received $300,000 for her title role in "Wonder Woman." The blockbuster movie has accumulated over $500 million in box office receipts in just two weeks.
"Wonder Woman" is getting good reviews and many viewers in its second week in theaters. Gadot, however, signed a three-movie contract with DC Films in 2014 giving her $300,000 per superhero movie.
In contrast, Henry Cavill, who starred in "Man of Steel," a less successful movie than "Wonder Woman," was paid $14 million for his role, plus bonuses.
