CardioPex Ltd., founded by Noam Goldwasser has closed down. The company raised several million from investors, including Accelmed and former Teva executive Meron Mann. The company sought to develop heart valve replacements. It had eight employees at its peak.
Accelmed has another portfolio company in the same field, Herzliya-based ValCare Medical Ltd. in which it has invested $8 million.
