Israeli startup Deep Instinct, which uses artificial intelligence in deep learning for cyber security, has been given the Most Innovative Startup award at the Black Hat IT cyber security conference in Las Vegas. One of the world's most prestigious cyber security conferences, Black Hat this year launched a new category of awards, entitled the Best of Black Hat Awards, in which the editors of "Dark Reading," the world's leading professional information security website, give recognition to security companies and leaders among the companies with exhibitions at the Black Hat conference who think creatively about security and help enterprises become more secure.

Deep Instinct's deep learning app for cyber security, launched in November 2015, is in the patent registration processes. The app facilitates advanced capabilities in detecting security threats and breaches with an innovative degree of accuracy, and makes it possible to prevent them from materializing in real time. Deep Instinct CEO Guy Caspi said, "We are thrilled to win the Most Innovative Startup award at Black Hat US. Behind this distinguished award is our relentless drive for innovation, applying for the first time deep learning to cybersecurity."
