The reality TV star will model Carolina Lemke's sunglasses with art owner Bar Refaeli and help expand marketing in the US.
US reality TV star Kim Kardashian has signed an agreement to invest in the Israeli sunglasses label Carolina Lemke, which is partly owned by Israeli super-model Bar Refaeli. The agreement is part of Carolina Lemka's attempts to expand in the US market.
Under the terms of the agreement between Carolina Lemke parent company Castro-Hoodies and Kardashian, the latter will pay up to $30 million in the first year and Kim Kardashian will advertise the sunglasses together with Bar Refaeli. The two will model the glasses together in the summer of 2019. In addition, Kardashian will be responsible for a limited edition collection of products and will visit Israel in March 2019.
Carolina Lemke is considered one of Castro-Hoodies strongest fashion brands with revenue of NIS 167 million in 2017, up 20% from the previous year and operating profit of close to NIS 20 million.
