Mon: TASE edges up

Teva clawed back some more of last week's losses but perrigo fell more than 2%.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.01% to 1,604.92 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.02% to 1,429.29 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 0.10% to 375.17 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.07% to 347.14 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.05 billion.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate up 0.270% at NIS 3.710/$ from Friday's rate and set the shekel-euro rate down 0.051% at 4.277/€.

On the market, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 1.41%, raising for the second successive day and clawing back some of last week's heavy losses following publication of its second quarter results. Melisron Ltd. (TASE: MLSR) rose 1.65% and Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd. (TASE: HARL) rose 1.95%. Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) rose 2.01% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today.

Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 1.30%, NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) fell 1.04% and Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) fell 2.02%. Mazor Robotics Ltd. (TASE:MZOR) fell 4.12% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today.
