Moshe Kahlon returning to politics

Kahlon told "Yediot Ahronot": Likud has folded the social policy banner.

Former minister of communications and social services Moshe Kahlon, who open the mobile market to competition and slashed prices, told Hebrew daily "Yediot Ahronot" reports that that he has decided to return to politics, and will run in the next elections.

"I have decided to return to politics, only I don’t yet know in what framework," Kahlon said. In the interview, he criticized the Likud and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that the Likud "has folded the social protest banner." He revealed that there was disagreement with Netanyahu on the social issue, even when he sat in the previous government. He said that he supported the social protest in the summer of 2011, which he said "angered" Netanyahu.

Kahlon added that the radical right has taken over the Likud, and that these "right-wing elements", as he called them, "folded the social policy banner in favor of the diplomatic-security banner. That is the main damage. The Likud is liable to pay a price for that."
