New Ra'anana mall planned

The two-floor mall will have 150 stores, cafes, restaurants, and an open market called the Ra'anana Carmel Market.

A new 5,000-square meter mall with 160 parking spaces is planned for the northern entrance to the Ra'anana industrial zone. Agrexco chairman Gideon Bickel is the developer. He bought the nine-dunam (2.25-acre lot) in the 1970s and subsequently had it rezoned.

The lot's current urban building plan calls for the construction of high-tech office buildings, commercial space, and a hotel. Bickel plans a two-floor mall with 150 stores, cafes, restaurants, and an open market to be called the Ra'anana Carmel Market.
