NTA has decided to bring forward the start of work on the Arlozorov underground station on the Tel Aviv Light Rail Red Line from October to September. A diversion constructed by Netivei Ayalon around the site will enable traffic to continue to flow while the work is carried out. Roads in the area will be closed on Thursday night while the temporary traffic arrangement is completed.
The Arlozorov station is located on Al Parashat Derachim Street in Tel Aviv next to the Arlozorov 2000 bus terminus and the Savidor-Tel Aviv Central railway station, and will be the busiest station on the Red Line because of its proximity to these transport hubs.
