The Israeli bookseller has ordered copies of the special "survivors" edition of the French satirical magazine.
All 3 million copies of the special "survivors" edition of the French satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo swiftly sold out and the edition has already become a collector's item. However, the magazine edition might soon be available in Israel because the Steimatzky booksellers chain has ordered 300 copies. For the sake of comparison newsagents in Canada and the UK ordered 1,500 and 2,000 copies respectively.
Steimatzky is waiting for final confirmation from the magazine's distributors to discover whether in fact copies of Charlie Hebdo are actually en route to Israel.
