A routine test conducted by Strauss on the company's 650-gram Achla tubs of humus raised concern about salmonella in the salad factory.

The Ministry of Health today announced that a routine test conducted by Strauss on the company's 650-gram Achla tubs of humus raised concern about salmonella in the salad plant.

The Ministry of Health says that a small quantity of the product was sent to a number of sales points by mistake and that Strauss is telling anyone who bought a 650-gram package of humus with the barcode 7290107940030 and a September 6, 2018 sell-by date on it not to consume it.

The company announced, "Strauss apologizes to its customers and is making great efforts to collect the products from the shelves. All the other products from the Achla brand were tested and found completely fit for consumption."
