Sun: TASE higher despite NICE slump

Nova and Camtek rose strongly while NICE slumped to reflect Wall Street trading on Friday.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.32%, to 2,012.30 points, the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.29% to 2001.78 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 0.38% to 404.95 points. The All Bond corporate bond index rose 0.21% to 384.71 points. Turnover totaled NIS 777.2 million in equities and NIS 955.8 million in bonds.

On the foreign exchange market, the Bank of Israel set the representative shekel-dollar rate down 1.319% on Friday, at NIS 3.742/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 1.311% higher at NIS 4.089/€.

On the market, NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE:NICE) fell 7.64% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Sapiens International NV (Nasdaq: SPNS; TASE: SPNS) fell 1.5%, Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORA) fell 1.71% and Azrieli Group (TASE: AZRG) fell 0.91%.

Nova Ltd. (Nasdaq:NVMI; TASE:NVMI) rose 6.93% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today and Camtek (Nasdaq: CAMT; TASE: CAMT) rose 4.16%.

Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) led the market today, rising 0.94% on the day's biggest trading turnover. Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 1%, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank rose 1.39% and Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) rose 1.17%.
