Tue: Dual listed tech stocks drag TASE down

Opko Health, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Ormat Technologies and Elbit Systems pulled the market down today.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.93% to 1,691.56 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 1.06% to 1,455.31 points, and the BlueTech 50 Index fell 2.29% to 367.36 points. Turnover was NIS 1.61 billion.

In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.833/$, down 0.905% on yesterday's rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.316/€, up 0.132%.

In the bond market, the corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.58%.

In the stock market, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) fell 5.65% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 index . Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.58%, Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) fell 0.66%, and Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORMT) fell 2.02%.

Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL) fell 3.21% and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 2.31%.

Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) rose 0.98% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 0.20% on the day's biggest trading turnover.
