The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index fell 0.15%, to 1,886.15 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index fell 0.23%, to 1,969.81 points; and the BlueTech Global Index fell 0.963%, to 531.22 points. The TelBond 60 corporate bond index fell 0.07%, to 383.39 points. Turnover totaled NIS 1.87 billion in equities and NIS 2.91 billion in bonds.
On the foreign exchange market, the shekel-dollar representative rate was set 0.39% higher, at NIS 3.1130/$, and the shekel-euro representative rate was set 0.77% higher, at NIS 3.5232/€.
Bank Hapoalim led trading today, and fell 1.31%. Elbit Systems rose 7.46%; Bank Leumi fell 0.55%; Amot fell 0.90%; and Discount Bank fell 0.15%. Elbit Systems received a "Buy" recommendation from Zacks Equity Research yesterday.
Besides Elbit, Teva was a notable advancer today, rising 3.65%. Compugen fell 4.66%, ElectReon fell 3.67%, and Perion Network fell 3.67%.
