The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.40%, to 1,621.43 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.58% to 1,632.72 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 0.45% to 329.26 points. The All Bond corporate bond index fell 0.11% to 360.77 points. Turnover totaled NIS 2.21 billion in equities and NIS 5.22 billion in bonds.
On the foreign exchange market, the Bank of Israel set the representative shekel-dollar rate up 0.025% from Monday, at NIS 4.063/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 0.188% higher at NIS 4.317/€.
Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI) led the market today, rising 1.39% on the day's biggest trading turnover. Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) rose 1.77%, Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) rose 1.94% and Mizrahi Tefahot Bank rose 1.48%.
Delek Group Ltd. (TASE:DLEKG) rose 4.28% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index. ICL (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) rose 1% and NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE:NICE) rose 0.93%.
Shapir Engineering and Industry (TASE: SPEN) fell 4.32% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.68%, Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORA) fell 2.11% and Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE:ESLT) fell 1.70%.
